Inspection of hardness and tensile tests for the foundry are conducted by Talum Inštitut d.o.o.
Hardness tester WOLPERT DIA TESTOR 751
Hardness inspection can be done using a Brinell or Vickers hardness test. Hardness inspection on castings is usually done using the Brinell test where a 5 mm ball from tungsten carbide alloy is used as the indenter.
Tensile-testing machine ZWICK Z 100
Tensile tests are conducted on specimens of different standard shapes, as there are flat and round keys (4-10 mm and 10-30 mm) available.
Test results are transferred to the laboratory information system LIMS and are available to make a copy of the certificate or for inspection using the web application OrbitaLIMS.
Surface roughness control on MAHR - PERTHEN Perthometer PRK
Surface roughness control is conducted in the 3D measurement room in our foundry.
